Balsamic Glazed Tuna Steaks

 

¾ cup balsamic vinegar

2 tlbs brown sugar

2 tbls grated onion

2 tsp chopped fresh thyme

2 tsp vegetable oil

4 5-6 oz tuna steaks

 

Combine balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, onion, thyme, and oil, stir until dissolved

Place tuna steaks in a resealable plastic bag.

Pour half of the mixture over tuna

Seal bag and chill 30 minutes.

Refrigerate remaining mixture

 

Preheat grill to medium

Remove tuna from marinade and discard

Grill fish 5 minutes per ½ inch thickness, turning once or until fish flakes

Brush fish with reserved balsamic mixture just before removing from grill
